This year, Sherwood McCormick, & Robert is pleased to congratulate four attorneys within our firm that were recognized by Super Lawyers, Ted Sherwood, Hugh M. Robert, Meredith Lindaman, and AJ Martinez.
Super Lawyers recognizes the top 5% of Oklahoma attorneys in each practice area. Each recognized attorney is thoroughly researched by the research team at Thompson-Reuters in the legal division. This research team analyzes various metrics including a survey of practicing attorneys within the state, independent evaluation of candidates by the attorney-led research staff, and a peer review of candidates by practice area. After evaluating each of these criteria, researchers follow up with the Oklahoma Bar association to ensure each candidate is in good standing and displays the highest code of ethics.
This rigorous process of pairing attorney’s skill, relationship with their peers, and moral and ethical code provides the super lawyers with a list of the most elite attorneys within each state. Being included on the list shows dedication to not only the attorney’s practice area, but also to their moral and ethical code.
Ted Sherwood- Super Lawyer in Medical Malpractice
Ted Sherwood is a principal in Sherwood, McCormick, & Robert. He graduated from law school in 1983 and has since focused on nursing and medical negligence. In addition to being listed as a Super Lawyer, Ted is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, one of the premiere legal associations in America and is a member of the National Association of Distinguished Neutrals.
Hugh Robert- Super Lawyer in Business Litigation
Hugh Robert graduated from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2008 and has continued to expand his practice in the area of complex litigation including business litigation since that time. He also continues his practice in the areas of personal injury, business transactions, nonprofit formation and compliance, and estate planning. In addition to being a super lawyer, Hugh has received numerous awards for both his skill as an attorney and his dedication to public service.
Meredith Lindaman- Rising Star in Business Litigation
Meredith Lindaman graduated the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2008 and has been continuously selected as a Super Lawyer Rising Star since 2014. Meredith is a trial lawyer and devotes her practice to general civil litigation.
AJ Martinez- Rising Stars in Intellectual Property
AJ graduated the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2013 after having graduated the University of Tulsa in 2007 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering. AJ focuses his practice in all areas of intellectual property law (patent, trademark, copyright and related litigation), transactional, business transactions, outside general counsel for businesses, litigation, contracts, and other general civil litigation matters.
