Stacy Lawrence

Stacy Lawrence, JD has devoted her legal career to the representation of hospitals, physicians, nurses, payors, and other health care providers in the areas of health care contracting, risk management, litigation management, licensing, moral and medical ethics, peer review, and credentialing.

She provides legal representation to physicians, nurses, and physician assistants as well as practice groups in the areas of health care compliance, risk management, bylaws, policies, and documentation. She has also worked for a payor and focused on medical policy, clinical payment and coding policies, member disputes, and insurance legislation.

Stacy earned her law degree from the University of Tulsa, and holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Central Arkansas where she was a four-year letterman for the softball team.

Stacy is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Tulsa County Bar Association, and American Health Lawyers Association. She currently serves on the board of Parkside Psychiatric Hospital and Morton Comprehensive Health Services.

She served as an officer for the Oklahoma Bar Association Health Law Section for 5 years.She previously served as a volunteer with Tulsa Lawyers for Children, was a graduate of Leadership Tulsa Class 56, and Oklahoma Bar Association Leadership Academy, and was an advisory board member of Lead Learn Live.

Stacy is a frequent lecturer to hospitals, physician groups and health care entities in the areas of risk management, healthcare operations and regulatory issues, peer review and credentialing.
