Reid Rogez is an Associate Attorney with Sherwood & Robert. Reid focuses on litigation in various areas of practice, including business transactions, personal injury, real estate condemnation, and criminal defense. Reid has extensive experience in the courtroom, including five jury trials with four as first chair attorney and three acquittals. In addition, he has completed over ten bench trials as first chair attorney, dozens of hearings on evidentiary and dispositive motions, and over 30 direct and cross-examinations of witnesses.
During law school, Reid completed a judicial externship with now-Kentucky Supreme Court Justice Angela McCormick Bisig during her tenure as the Chief District Judge in Jefferson County, Kentucky, and volunteered with the Kentucky Innocence Project.
Reid began his legal career as a trial attorney in the Tulsa County Public Defender’s Office handling felony and misdemeanor cases and now employs those courtroom skills to a wide range of civil matters at Sherwood & Robert.
