With a background in commercial real estate, zoning, tax increment financing (TIF), and regulatory compliance, Matt helps clients structure deals efficiently and strategically. He is particularly passionate about deal-making—helping clients grow, mitigate risk, and seize new opportunities.
Before joining Sherwood & Robert, Matt spent nearly eight years as in-house counsel for a major corporation, where he gained invaluable insight into the legal and business challenges faced by corporate property owners, real estate developers, and investors. This experience enhanced his ability to anticipate risks, streamline transactions, and structure deals that ensured long-term success for his clients.
